Dental caries (cavities) is a disease which has been notoriously difficult to accurately predict, due to its multi-factorial nature.  Based upon molecular biology research done at the University of Southern California Dental School, Proactive Oral Solutions has developed a simple saliva-based test which accurately predicts a child's propensity for developing dental caries, and the groups of teeth in which the caries are likely to occur.
